REST
I’m realizing that in order to have the testimony You have to pass the test. I’m realizing that hiding under Your wings in that secret place is where I find rest.

"Season" - A Book of Poetry
For some Labor Day is a day of Shopping, for others, it marks the end of Summer and the beginning of football and to most, this day is celebrated as a day of rest.
In the midst of a worldwide pandemic, this word will either seem foreign or excessive for you.
REST is defined:
allow to be inactive in order to regain strength, health, or energy.
(of a dead person) lie buried.
Interesting how If you don't do #1 periodically you will get to #2 quicker.
Some say I won't #1 until I #2.
The way God created us at some time or another either allowed or force we must Rest.
When I started my personal journey to put together the titles in “Seasons “ - A Book of Poetry I was searching for Rest.
Not a physical rest but a mental break and after experiencing some time in a Mental facility I knew that I had to allow myself to be inactive in order to regain mental health or it would once again be forced upon me.
In that Season I found rest in putting pen to paper. I worked at a Healthcare company that believed in promoting health so on my break time I would go into the “ Quiet Room” take out my pad and begin to release everything that was circling in my head.
At that time I was just grateful to walk out of that room ready to face another 4 -12 hours of whatever the day would bring but God knew that this therapy to stay strong would produce.
Matt 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
